I don’t get out much. Movie watching, concerts or anything like that are a thing of the past for me. I’m almost entirely focused on video games, so at most I’ll go out to an arcade.
However, there was an era where I went to a few concerts and skate events with my father and sister. I can’t recall which, but at one of them I got a demo disc for Frequency. It was the first PS2 game I owned and I held onto it for two years before I finally got the system in 2003.
I’ve never been much of a rhythm game fan, so I fumbled about with it and then moved on to Castlevania: Lament of Innocence and Kingdom Hearts, the first full games I got for the PS2.
I don’t have much of an interest in Frequency itself, but whenever the paper casing catches my eye on the shelf, I recall that brief period when I did something other than sit at the computer all day.
