One of the biggest challenges I have with any funding is that most rewards take time away from me doing other stuff. So while you get rewarded with bonus videos, it’s not like that time is free. That time gets taken away from other projects, often the most important ones.
So I thought I’d take a different approach and have a goal where you give me time to work on the content that matters – premier content! The goal, which you can find on Ko-fi, is about how much I’d make if I worked an entire workday. And if we hit the goal, I’ll exchange an actual work day for one where I work solely on a premiere video.
That doesn’t mean that is the only time I’ll ever work on a premiere video, it’s just a way for you to help things move along faster, so hopefully, videos come out sooner or turn out better!
Is it a high bar? Yeah, it is. But it’s better than asking you to help me directly fund purchasing specific things or offering rewards that may only be relevant to certain people. With this, you can at least know your money is helping make the thing you like most (I think, lol.)
Either way, I still plan to have some exclusive Ko‑fi content, whether that be behind the scenes or some of the older Patreon-style videos I was doing (remember, they’re all free here).
But even if we don’t make the goal, thank you again for your support!
