Hi everyone, and I hope your 2023 started great! Here’s a quick update regarding donations and support for One Controller Port.
Patreon Channel Closure
While I’ve already informed all the Patreon members, I wanted to make a formal post on the website notifying everyone that I’ll be closing the One Controller Port Patreon this month.
I’ve been happy with the support I’ve provided to the Patreon community over the last year, and providing support for 2023 isn’t a significant issue. However, I was never able to grow the community beyond a handful of people. After some discussions with some of the members, my recent changes to the YouTube channel, and the new year where I’m trying to trim some of the excesses around OCP, it felt like now was the right time to end support.

Further Donations and Support Options
I have re-opened the Ko-Fi I used briefly last year with support for one-time donations and Membership options. At this time, I have no specific commitment to a content output, though I anticipate providing Ko-Fi exclusive posts and possibly videos.
Ko-Fi provides an environment where things can be less formal, and users don’t necessarily have to subscribe.
