This was a pretty fun idea I had. I used the IGeNerator to produce an article idea and then I ran with it. My result? “Is Imaigne Babyz Skyrim for Adults?” Needless to say, it was pretty fun to write. I ended up writing it at, like, five in the morning. But half sleep is the sort of mindset I need to write something like this.

Some of you may think that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is going to be one of the biggest titles released this year. I’m here to tell you that you’re wrong. Why? It’s for babies. Watch some gameplay. See all magic and stuff? Baby material. If you want a real mature and adult game this holiday season, look no further than the 2007 classic Imagine: Babyz for the Nintendo DS. Not only is it the most adult title ever released on DS, it’s more adult than anything found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. After the jump, I’ve listed five hardcore facts about Imagine: Babyz and its adult nature compared to Skyrim.
No “z” in Skyrim
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim? Not xtreme enough. Heck, Skyrim had the potential to be three times more adult than Imagine: Babyz with a title like, “The Elderz Scrollz V: Skyimz Dragonmanz”. Look at that. Three of them. That’s what I call an adult title. Plus, the more “z”s you add the less likely some random indie developer will have a single word in their title somewhat close to yours. That means less suing.
Babies Can’t Take Care of Babyz
Would you ever hire a baby for a babysitter? No. No you wouldn’t. That’s a job for adults. Adults like 12 year old born female Chasetta who lives up the street from you and needs $20 to buy Imagine: Babyz so he can feed his babysitting addiction. See, Imagine: Babyz even covers tough themes, like babysitting addiction. Once you start babysitting, you just can’t stop. Skyrim? It has dragons. Those are imaginary. Imagination is for Babyz. Even if you require imagination in your gaming diet, Imagine: Babyz has got you covered. There’s imagining in it, so says the title.

Imagine: Babyz has Unrivaled Realism
Babyz are real. Babysitters are real. Imagining is real. Horses are not real, unless you’re talking about Petz: Horsez 2 (the original Pet Horsez featured imaginary horsez). Skyrim is not real. Bethesda is not real. There are a lot of comparisons I could make here about the realistic aspects found in Imagine: Babyz and unreal imaginary aspects of Skyrim. But I wanted to focus on two things – Storks and dragons. Storks exist, dragon’s do not. Storks have more hardcore elements about them as well. I found this hardcore picture a stork:
It’s from a website called hardcore paintings, so you know it’s hardcore. If you search dragons on their site, you will only find unrelated results. What does this have to do with realism? That’s a stupid question. We all know hardcore games are always realistic. If it’s not realistic, it’s not hardcore.
Imagine: Babyz has More Lore
The Elder Scrolls V? There’s like, what, I don’t know, two or three games before it or something? That’s a pathetic amount of lore. Imagine Babyz, while one of the first Imagine titles, leads up to a 40+ entry rich series of games, each of which build off the foundation laid by Imagine: Babyz. What happened to the baby you raised as a babysitter? Who knows. He may be the one you’re operating on in Imagine: Family Doctor, or he may have turned into a cheerleader and you have to help him cheer in Imagine: Cheerleader. The title even has some cross over with a huge recognizable franchise mascot, Master Chef, who feeds off the red bodily fluids of his enemies. Not only that, but the series has an entire sub-series dedicated to the domestic and wild life of the Imagine world.

Although, Castlevania 64 has motorcycles. I’m not sure which is more adult. Sure isn’t Skyrim though.
So, as you can see, Imagine: Babyz and, really, the entire Imagine series are some of the most adult titles out there on the market, even more adult than Skyrim. I found this to be all fact from my super secret source within Reggie Fils-Aime. And if you can’t accept that, you need to go play GotY 2011, MindJack. It will open your eyes to the adult world of Imagine: Babyz.
