Gaming is an expensive hobby. So when we lay down our money for $40 to $60 releases, we expect to get not only quality content, but a large quantity of content as well. But developers will often cut on content or even just flat out run out of ideas before the player gets their full mileage out of their gaming dollars. So instead they add repeatable content and try to add incentives for players to literally do the same task over and over again to extend a player’s time in the world. But is this kind of value a legitimate way of extending your dollar? Or is it simply just the developer being lazy?
